Bangladesh is a underdeveloped country that his surrounded by rivers it is dominated by the low-lying Ganges Delta, and is known to be the most densely populated country in the world. It is one of the world's biggest productions for rice, fisheries and jute and second to China in exporting of garments and textiles.
It has frequent floods and monsoon seasons are the causes of it. Bangladesh is widely considered to be the most vulnerable to climate change such as floods, earthquakes and other natural disasters.

Bangladesh Deaths And Lifestyle
In Bangladesh, there are more rural areas than urban compared to Japan and it would just get higher than that. There are a number of slums dotted around Bangladesh and example would be in Dhaka where the conditions are not the best. In 2005, Bangladesh was ranked the most corrupt country and is also poor because of it's dense populations.
Most deaths that are common are caused by floods and storms. Bangladesh is called the Drain of the Himalayas as the melting ice on the mountains causes floods. The Ganges Delta plays a part in the floods as when it overflows and floods. Earthquakes do happen due to the Himalayan Mountains constantly moving but more people die from diseases most likely from the floods as the dirty water is a breeding ground for viruses. On the right is a bar chart on the natural disasters in Bangladesh from 1980 to 2010 with storms taking first place and floods following behind then Epidemics(disease). I created a separate website on the flooding of Bangladesh x |
